well it is right that your face might get dried up but if you use this solution according to the directions it will perform better there is nothing to worry for.-It will help acne if used regularly and remember it is not a miracle in a bottle.Though Proactive cannot guarantee that you will never have another pimple again, because you probably will. Red bumps and scars of acne are also treated well with this but it does not work well for oily skin as i think.It will produce acne on the nose area even if you use an oil control lotion on top. Also the refining mask does dry the skin out...
